We arrived at the airport with a rented car : the car rental parking was clearly signed but there was no gas station to fill the tank !... After asking, we have been told to exit the car park to reach a Shell gas station, then to come back to the car park.
Almost nobody at the check-in desk, which was nice. On the contrary, the security check was packed on this wednesday evening. Plenty of lines but we still had to wait for more than 10 minutes.
A very good choice of restaurants and shopping options throughout the airport, to satisfy your cravings for belgian chocolates and waffles :-)
The bad aspect of Brussels airport, is the long walk between the check-in area and the boarding gate: approx. 20 minutes in our case. Don't waste your time !!
